About 2,844 BC Hydro customers in Valemount and McBride were hit with a power outage this morning, according to Hydro’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
A crew is now on site at the location of the transmission failure, says Hydro’s outage list. Hydro estimates the power will be restored at 10:00 a.m. In the meantime, Valemount and McBride can be moved to independent power producers.
