Highway 5 has been reopened after a 13.1 kilometre stretch of road between Allan Creek Rec Site and Albreda Pit Road was closed following a fatal vehicle incident yesterday morning.
RCMP responded to the crash after it was reported shortly after 6:00 a.m., according to Media Relations Officer Corporal Madonna Saunderson. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other sustained serious injuries, said Saunderson.
