The Valemount Community Hall is now closed. New Life Centre, at 1245 1st Avenue, is still open for evacuees.
Anyone who needs a shower can head to the Canoe Valley Recreation Centre (98 Elm Street, behind the Community Hall).
Those driving to Grande Prairie can stop in Prince George at the Kin 2 Arena (2187 Ospika Boulevard S). Grande Prairie’s reception centre is in the Bonnets Energy Centre, 10017 99 Avenue.
Calgary’s reception centre, Shouldice Arena, is at 1515 Home Road N.W. It is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. today.
