Emma (below left) holds her globe art piece at the year end wrap up of the Valemount Elementary
school art club, while Preyasi (centre) shows her popsicle stick woven basket. The club –
sponsored by Northern Health and the Parent Advisory Council – met once a week on Fridays
to offer kids the chance to explore a variety of art forms led by parent Amber Flatt. Each child
was given an award that recognized their accomplishments.
