The Grade 6 and 7 class from the McBride Centennial Elementary School presented their science fair projects to classmates, other students, as well as members of the public.
Some of the students learned how the salinity of water affects its density (Wyatt, left), how plants and animals react to sounds in their environments (Mykayla, right), Eli explored the world of homemade bottle rockets using hairspray and a spark (bottom right), how electricity is drawn through static (Delylah, bottom left) and how to create an electric motor by using a battery (Cohen, centre).
