Many teams returned to McBride to participate in the annual McBride Oldtimers hockey tournament. McBride and Valemount were among the teams participating in the non-traditional tournament where teams win points for not only overall games won, but also points for shootouts that occur at the halfway
point of each game, the least penalty minutes and others. The A pool winner was Barnes Dogs from Prince George. B pool winner was QTown from Quesnel. /ANDREA ARNOLD
