The McBride Curling Club is hoping to increase in numbers by offering weekly opportunities for people to come try out the sport. Every Friday, beginning at 7:00pm, the club is opening their doors, and for $5, anyone can curl for the night. Players of all ages are welcome but those under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. The curling lounge is open until 1:00am with a cash bar for attendees over the age of 19. The club is hosting a Ugly Xmas Sweater Bash (ice friendly, no glitter or breakables) that is open to the public. December 15th @ 7:00pm. There is no fee to attend, but please bring a little appetizer to share. $5 per throw in the turkey shoot.
