The Muskwa-Kechika ( pronounced ‘musk-quah-kechee-kah’ ) management area is situated in northern British Columbia and covers an area of 16,000,000 acres or seven times the size of Yellowstone National Park. It remains one of the largest remaining tracts of wild land in North America. It’s one of my favourite areas to film wildlife and for this fall the woodland caribou was my main subject to pursue in the high country. It was such an amazing experince to finally get into decent camera range undetected by these manificent creatures after crawling on my hands and knees for the last half kilometre.. /LEON LORENZRelated Posts:Serengeti of the NorthHeadstoneLeon's GrizzliesProper disposal after huntingCaribou breeding centre nearly one-third completePost navigationValemount traffic committee pitches 60km speed along Hwy 5Get moving with a drop-in fitness class
