Telus customers in McBride and Dunster are experiencing an outage with their phone and internet service. The Telus outage map confirms there is an outage, but has not indicated what the cause may be.
Telus Spokesperson Lena Chen says around 10 p.m. yesterday evening, an equipment failure caused intermittent wireless service for some customers in Dunster and McBride.
“Our crews immediately identified the issue and have been working since to fully restore service to all customers.”
Telus anticipate services will be fully restored later this evening.
“We know how critical connectivity is for our customers, and would like to thank them for their patience and understanding.”
