A few people danced to the music at the Valemount Museum during Canada Day celebrations. /LAURA KEILMLA Shirley Bond and McBride Mayor Gene Runtz cut into the cake during McBride’s Canada Day celebrations. Attendees were treated to games, visiting and food. /ANDREA ARNOLDKohl and Luke show off their facepaint at the Blue River July 1st gathering. A parade featuring old cars, trucks, kids on bikes, a side by side and emergency vehicles started the party. Throughout the day there were games, races, trivia contests, a sand castle building competition, and face painting.
