The Blue River Elementary School’s PAC would like to take a moment to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who helped contribute to our school’s fundraising campaign for our field trip to the historic gold mine town of Barkerville. Your support means the world to us, and we couldn’t have achieved our goals without your help! Our students had the opportunity to explore the rich history of our region and to learn about the gold rush era firsthand. The students were able to visit historic sites, meet with local experts, dress in period clothing, try their hand at gold panning and gain a deeper understanding of the impact that this period had on British Columbia and our country. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on the lives of our students, and we are grateful for your support.
