Ben Dempsey was the 2020-2021 winner of the Governor General Bronze Medal award for the highest academic achievement at Valemount Secondary and finally received his medal after a delay due to COVID-19. Dempsey just finished his second year of Computer Science and Physics at UNBC. He is thinking about getting into software engineering. This summer he’s teaching the Active Minds summer camp for kids ages 6-12 at UNBC.
