Simpcw First Nation rep Tina Donald addressed a crowd gathered at the Valemount Visitor Information Centre Monday evening to celebrate BC Tourism Week. She spoke about the strong partnerships with local tourism groups that are working on things like mountain biking, sledding, and skiing. “At the end of the day when we work on any projects, we want to make sure our six directives are taken care of – that’s water, land, animals, people that live on it, the archaeology, the plants.” /LAURA KEILMarcie Down, General Manager of Tourism Valemount, gave a short presentation about Tourism’s activities.
