Valemount Minor Hockey held a wind-up party at the arena last weekend with opportunities to play with the sports equipment that has taken the place of the ice surface. Kids decided that these “battle ropes” designed for arm, shoulder and core workouts, were put to better use as an alternative tug-of-war rope.
