Tim Haus was dismayed to find an unextinguished fire burning at the picnic table area near the 5-Mile parking lot at the base of the Valemount Bike Park April 19th. He said it was lucky there was no wind that day. He extinguished the fire and left a gallon jug of water next to the fire pit. He wants to remind people that it’s important to think about how to extinguish their fire before they make one. “Making a fire starts with a way to put it out.” /SUBMITTED
