During late evening on March 22nd, the McBride District Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call on McBride Crescent. They arrived to find flames lighting up the night from the roof of a home. All occupants of the home were already out of harm’s way so the department members set to work trying to save the structure. They worked until the early hours of Thursday morning working to extinguish all hot spots. Details about the cause and the future of the building were not known by presstime.
