Library board members and construction volunteers Tony Rykes, Glenn Foster, Library Director Abi Ward and Scotiabank McBride staff representative, Chelsie Stubbs stand in the new small gazebo in the McBride & District Public Library green space. The employees at Scotiabank McBride donated the funds to build the space to replace the gazebo that used to stand in the green space next to the bank. They wanted to provide a replacement for the popular place that had been used for eating lunch and visiting. The main structure was built by skilled volunteers. Benches will hopefully be added in the spring. /ANDREA ARNOLDRelated Posts:Local volunteer honoured for commitment to libraryHistoric facade moved to McBride museumLibrary outdoor space construction beginsScotiabank announces McBride branch closureSilent auction for library's outdoor garden spacePost navigationMorning moonFire simulation training
