The transfer station in McBride has two shiny new transfer bins that were put into use on Mon Sept. 26. The old bins were rusting out and holes were starting to form, resulting in the need for new ones. There is a plan in place to replace the others in the future, but the priority was the two in the worst condition. Valemount will also receive a couple new bins in the next few weeks. The new bins are very similar to the old, with the exception of reflective tape on their fronts and are a few inches taller. The replacement will not change how residents dispose of their trash.
