River crossings for most wildlife are taken in stride. Recently on a salmon spawning river I witnessed, for the first time, a chipmunk swimming. The river had a fairly fast current at this particular section, however the little swimmer never had a problem crossing over. This magnificent bull elk is on a mission to locate receptive cows and rivers don’t even slow it down. /LEON LORENZRelated Posts:Grizzly determinationThrough the lens with Leon LorenzGrizzly bear encountersAnnual fall elk rut underwayGrizzly faring wellPost navigationEditorial – Thank youMcBride company the “spyder” under many RV hoods
