The boil water and water conservation notice that was issued for residents of McBride on June 17, 2022 has been lifted. As of noon on July 29, 2022, the turbidity levels were declared acceptable and tap water is safe to drink. The Village recommends residents and businesses run their taps for 2-3 minutes before consuming, to clean out the lines.
The water conservation notice has been lifted as well, as the water levels in the Village’s reserve has risen to a sufficient level.
The Village appreciates the understanding from those affected by the notices over the last month and a half.
