Custin Ryan riding his stallion Apache, along with the assistance of others, corralled his herd of mares and foals so that they could be moved from their pasture adjacent to Horseshoe Lake. The drive happened Wednesday evening June 30th from the field to McBride Ranch on McBride South road.
They had to leave their pasture adjacent to Horseshoe Lake due to an allergic reaction caused by some weeds/plants which grow 3 to 4 months out of the year.
When a horse comes into contact with these weed/plants it causes white patches and skin irritations to the horse. (All are still being identified). / SANDRA JAMES
