Joan Marchant was on site working on hand stitching her latest project. The bulk of the project is supported by a table and the work held taught by a quilting hoop. Hanging nearby is one of her previous projects that she also quilted by hand. /ANDREA ARNOLDThe Valley Piecemakers held their bi-annual quilt show June 17 & 18 at the Valley Museum and Archives. The display illustrates the detail and care that goes into each of the creations. Included in the exhibit was the raffle quilt, and the final opportunity to buy tickets.The draw was held Saturday afternoon, and valley visitor Carol Harbin will be receiving the large and lovingly made souvenir.
