While Robson Valley RCMP have only issued three tickets for COVID-19 related infractions, residents have paid $4830 in fines after they were caught breaking public health rules.
Valemount RCMP said two tickets of $2300 each were written up for people who hosted indoor gatherings and one $230 ticket was issued to a person for failing to wear a mask in a business.
All three infractions occurred in Valemount, while no tickets were issued in McBride.
RCMP say none of the infractions occurred recently.
