On January 14, the underground power cable which brings power from the end of the Hydro line to the Telus facility on Lucille Mtn. was damaged, and power has been interrupted. The TV and radio transmitters get their power from the Telus site. A standby generator, which automatically engaged at the Telus site, cannot power the transmitter site as well. Both Telus and Hydro are working on a solution, but there is no firm repair date yet.
