The Valley PieceMakers Quilt Guild presented individuals directly impacted by the Willox Creek slide in early July, with handmade quilts on Saturday. The guild began the quilts shortly after the slide forced Joyce Godfrey, Gary & Mabel Moore, Michelle Rejman, and Jim & Jennette Chuipka from their homes. Each person received their own special blanket, stitched with care by the guild members.
