Friends Flo Mynio, Kathy Molendyk and Sandy Bernie gathered around to give Dawna Hickerty a fond farewell on Tuesday September 29, 2020. A send-off was held at Steve Kolida Park, allowing for drop in visiting and well wishes over the course of a couple of hours. Hickerty has lived in McBride for 50 years and although she is looking forward to the move to Kelowna to be closer to her family, she will miss all her friends and the Valley she has called home for so long. /ANDREA ARNOLD
