At the request of the Regional District of Fraser Fort George, Members of BC Wildfire Services filled approximately 2500 sandbags in McBride on Thursday June 25, 2020. “This isn’t a normal situation,” said RDFFG Manager of External Relations, Renee McCloskey. “We were fortunate that they were available to help.” LDM delivered the sand to the parking lot between the Recreation Centre and the Community Hall. The filled sandbags are available for anyone who needs the added protection against rising floodwaters./ANDREA ARNOLDSee more photos: [rl_gallery id=”43874″]Related Posts:This week in photos: July 9This week in photos: May 16th 2019This week in photos: May 23rd 2019This week in photos: June 6th 2019This week in photos: May 31st 2019Post navigationB&E at the general storeCarr Road washout
