The Best Western is opening a new spa and treatment room, and treatments will include use of the hotel’s pool, hot tub and gym.
Starting July 3rd, Sherrie Houghton of Emerald Earth Organic Spa will be offering customized massage, hot stone massage, organic spa facial, foot bliss therapy, body salt scrub and spa treatments. She will use her own line of natural skincare products in treatments.
Dallas Bullock RMT of Robson Valley Wellness will also be operating in the space, offering Registered Massage Therapy starting July 8th.
The Valemount Best Western Wellness Centre is located on the second floor next to the gym.
“We’re excited to work together in a collaborative space,” said Bullock. She has been working at clinics and resorts across B.C. during the past two years and is excited to be back in Valemount. This is the launch of Houghton’s business locally though she’s been selling her skin care products for a few months already and has spent many years working as a massage and spa practitioner in Australia and Canada.
The pair are offering discounts for locals. Treatments can be booked by anyone – hotel guests, locals, or guests staying elsewhere and they encourage people to book online.
