The McBride District Volunteer Fire Department has received several donations in the last few weeks. Up the Creek Garment Co. in Prince George sent the department “McBride Strong” t-shirts. The department members can keep their hands clean with sanitizer donated by Pacific Western Brewing, also from Prince George. The department also received a large donation from the Mackenzie Fire Department in the form of self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) equipment. Chief David Hruby, Deputy Nathan Dubeck, Captain Courtney Lipke, and Safety Officer Beth Dubeck, expressed gratitude on behalf of the whole department. “We have been lucky to be running at full capacity,” said Deputy Dubeck. “We are all more than grateful for the support in the form of donations from these organizations.”/ANDREA ARNOLD
