Lucas Bergen is the recipient of the Governor General’s Bronze Medallion for graduating with the highest average from Valemount Secondary and received his medal at the school in December. Bergen is studying math and physics at the University of Northern British Columbia. He said his favourite part of physics is understanding the natural world and the motion of things.
