This past week CIBC Valemount wrapped up its annual fundraising campaign for BC Children’s Hospital foundation. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the wonderful citizens of Valemount who have been our constant and faithful supporters over past 20 years. On average you help us raise over $3,000.00 during a 3 month span each year through the sale of merchandise and chocolate bars, raffles bbqs and golf tournaments.
This is a cause near to our hearts as we all know several children just from our community alone who have received treatment and care from this Hospital and wouldn’t be alive today without it. Last year alone saw close to 93,000 BC children pass through its doors. Your generous donations go towards new equipment, research and family support programs within BC children’s hospital with each dollar raised being accounted for and spent wisely.
