Alice Olson (above, centre) turned 96 last week and many celebrated with her. Left clockwise: MLA Shirley Bond and local RCMP honoured Alice (pictured above Const. Tyler Jensen, Sgt. Bob Dean and Cpl. Jacob Joslin); Legion volunteer Ellen Duncan served up delicious tea; Olson blew out the candles surrounded by family; Olson’s great-grandchildren practised their high tea skills. / BETH RUSSELL Dale Krinke, Jim Harte and Archie McCrea share wisdom at McBride’s Beanery 2 on Friday. / ANDRU MCCRACKEN Constable Kyle Stubbs works dog Logan through a drill disguised as a game with a Kong on a rope that helps Logan work on perfecting her bite and grip. / ANDREA ARNOLD Mark, Jared, Blair and Amy roll through town like they own it. The riders had just finished a loop of the teensy amount of the Valemount Bike Park that is now open: the Swift Creek Loop to Subversion, up the road to a small connector and back down the Swift Creek Loop. It’s all on the north side of Swift Creek and it’s all dry and good for riding. Most trails however are not open yet and many are still covered in snow. / ANDRU MCCRACKEN Related Posts:This week in photos: July 11th 2019This week in photos: Aug 8th 2019This week in photos: September 19thThis week in photos: Oct 17 2019This week in photos: July 4th 2019Post navigationProvince and Feds invest in Village infrastructureSpring ride
