Approximately 60 people of all ages came out to enjoy the mild weather on Sunday March 10, 2019 as McBride was finally able to host the Annual Sno-Fest event. Participants had the opportunity to try a variety of snow sports. Supplies were on hand for all ages to experience cross country skiing, snowshoeing, street hockey, skating, curling and good old fashion bum/stomach tobogganing. There was even an opportunity for kids to experience a modified dog sled. The BBQ was fired up and free hot dogs were available throughout the afternoon. As well, the community churches sponsored and supervised a hot drink and cookie station in the pavillion. / ANDREA ARNOLD

A water main break March 13th near the Valemount Health Centre on 6th ave left a dozen properties without water for over a day, including the health centre.
