Valemount had not one but two babies born on New Year’s Day. Maverick was born to Jayme Duerksen and Joshua Ball on January 1st at 2:40 pm at 7lbs 6oz in Hinton, AB. The Valemount Novice Wildcats won all five of their games in Clearwater this weekend. “It was amazing,†said Loignon, “At that age it is tougher getting them to play positions. We were pleasantly surprised at the effort level.†Loignon said they had some amazing help from goaltender Colton.
