This year’s annual Ducks Unlimited fundraising dinner did not disappoint. The annual gala is a reason for locals to dust off their formals and bid their way to new home decor.
The evening included hand-crafted items by Richard Meyer, including a wishing well (right) and a bird house (above right). Ducks Unlimited representative Ken Ferris said the Valemount Chapter has raised more than $300,000 over the last 21 years it has operated. This is the 50th anniversary of the B.C. Chapter. Over the years, Ducks Unlimited has invested money into Cranberry Marsh, which is a managed wetland.
