Two local students took first place in the Northern Zones competition for their entries in the annual Remembrance Day Poster and Essay contest sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion.
Their entries now move on to the Provincial level. Congratulations to Blair Watson, Intermediate Essay, and Arayah Lynn Tinsley- Dawson, Primary Black and White, who received a certificate and a cash prize from representatives of RCL #266 recently.
