All in a volunteer’s day of work- 280 pounds of apples being peeled. The end result, the rolled pastry and cut up apples are all put together, to produce 300 delicious pies! Over 30 volunteers came out last Tuesday to make pies. The Seniors meeting room was abuzz with energy, smiling faces and lovely smells of apples! Home Hardware and IGA sponsored the pies. Approximately $2500 was raised, which will help the Senior’s Housing Association with renovations of individual suites.
