Debbie Iorns and David Radies bought the church building on Main St. last year and recently got hitched inside its walls. Iorns said it occurred to them after they bought it that it would make a great place to get married. The church came with pews, an organ and ornamental flowers, among other things.
Above – Iorns and Radies leave the church as guests threw grass seed, sunflower seeds, lavender hedge seeds and rice confetti. Their newly-levelled yard was ready for these seeds to take root for next year. Iorns says they don`t have firm plans to change the church or move in permanently, but they had to add an addition on the one side to prevent leakage into the outside entrance to the basement. For now, they plan to use the building as their vacation spot when they are visiting. They are based in Prince George.
