Brenda and Dutch Molendyk are better known as the former owners of AG Foods. They didn’t last long in retirement. On Friday Brenda was behind the counter of their new store: Welcome Home Antiques & Giftware located next to the Mountain Chapel on Main St. Brenda said she had customers “as soon as the paper came off the windows.” “The energy was just so positive,” she says. She has antiques, giftware, coffee and some clothing and books and is open 10-5:30 6 days a week (closed Sundays). Brenda formerly ran a similar store a decade ago, though this time around she won’t be selling health foods.
