The First Annual Joey Lussier Memorial Slo-pitch Tournament and fundraiser for Joey’s wife Jackilyn and two young daughters was a great success this weekend. 10 teams played on two ball diamonds for the title, with “Balls Deep” and “JB Lakers” from Division A battling “Plan B” and “Muff N’ Men” from Division B for the title on Sunday afternoon. Along with a dance, bake sale, silent auction, beer gardens and other fundraisers, the event raised over $8000.
