There were burgers and wieners and pies and soft serve ice cream and, above all, charity, at Scotiabank’s annual fundraiser for the BC Children’s Hospital. The event drew dozens of people under the bright sunshine. No word yet how much money was raised. The crowd included McBride’s criminal justice establishmentâ€cops, a prosecutor, and a defense lawyer.
