The swap shed or swap shack are sheds located at the Transfer Stations in the Robson Valley (Valemount, Dunster & McBride) where people can leave unwanted items and other people can take them – no money changing hands. Items taken from the swap shed are bragged about whenever someone comments on that item.
Example usage:
Person 1: “I love that neon pink lamÔ© top!”
Person 2: “It’s from the Swap Shed!”
