Three Junior basketball teams from Valemount and one from McBride all worked hard this last weekend, playing in a 10-team tournament in Valemount. Other teams came from Jasper, Tumbler Ridge and Fort St James.
Both of Valemount’s girls teams won all their games by wide margins. Valemount’s head coach Tim Nusse says the girls Valemount B team (grade 8/9) has challenged the Valemount A (grade 9/10) team to a play-off game.
