The Village of McBride is joining 114 other B.C. municipalities in making it easier to start and run a business, thanks to BizPaL.
BizPaL is a free online service launched in 2005. Business owners can use the service to determine what regulations apply to their business. BizPaL provides business owners with online, simplified access to information about the business permits and licences they may require to start and run their businesses in a specific location – like McBride. The Village of Valemount also uses BizPaL.
BizPaL is the result of a unique partnership among federal, provincial, territorial and municipal governments.
“We are excited to partner with BizPaL,” says Loranne Martin, mayor of the Village of McBride. “By consolidating licences in one area, McBride’s entrepreneurs are more easily able to access the information they need in order to successfully establish an enterprise in the area.”
