Great conditions for skating at the marsh continue, and on Nov. 18th, skaters were treated to a beautiful “sun dog” or halo around the setting sun. Folklore has it that a halo around the sun often means a change in the weather. This dog is curious about the muskrat he has just seen. Open spots, with warmer weather, are appearing now beside muskrat houses on the marsh.
