I just finished reading your editorial entitled “The best use of our growing money” – you nailed it on so many fronts!
First off, the prize is not a test – but in so many ways it is! A blessing and a curse, a double-edged sword”¦ the analogies never end and neither does the challenge in how best to distribute funding. That’s why it’s so important, as you’ve captured, that residents are engaged and involved in providing guidance and direction to the Trust on our future priorities, but also, and possibly more importantly, involved in narrowing down the choices by having to understand the trade-offs.
Thank you for writing this editorial – I hope it spurs your readers to talk about this more, and get engaged in the dialogue.
