Cathy McLeod, Member of Parliament for Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo was in Valemount last week as part of her annual tour of her constituency. She met with members of the Valemount and Area Chamber of Commerce at noon in the Lucky House, discussing issues like problems getting workers for local businesses, recent changes to the Employment Insurance program, pipelines and LNG. McLeod met with members of the public later that day at the Golden Years Lodge.
