North West Mud Racing Association holds races across BC in eight classes, from 4×4 pick-ups to blown alcohol. This past weekend at the Canoe Mountain Rodeo Grounds, there were even sleds, motor bikes and foot races, down the mud tracks and in the always-anticipated mud pit.
At the end of Sunday events just before the awards ceremony, Gavin McDonald, president of the NWMRA, said the association didn’t make any money, this weekend though they didn’t loose as much as previous years here in Valemount. He says they keep coming back because the racers love our tracks, and love to be here.
