CIBC celebrated its 50th anniversary in Valemount on Friday May 23, with cake, flowers and a $2500 donation to the Robson Valley Support Society’s Respectful Relationships program. On hand for the celebrations were Mayor Andru McCracken, Senior Vice President of CIBC Northern Territory Mike Stevenson, Shelly Battensby, Assistant Director of Robson Valley Support Society, Rick Sallas, District Vice President for CIBC, Jackie Edwards, chair of the Robson Valley Support Society board, and Branch Manager Allen Reale.
Also in attendance were Brenda Mongord, District Branch Manager for CIBC and Bob and Lori Smith, both former managers of the Valemount branch, as well as current and former staff.
