Mick Callas spotted this bear with an apparently bald face and her cub south of Valemount recently. He thinks they are black bears, not grizzlies, and doesn’t think the balding is from mange. Keep an eye out on local roads and highways, lots of bears – both black and grizzly – have been spotted recently.
